The Holy Father has accepted the resignation of Rt. Rev. Anthony Ireri Mukobo, IMC as the bishop of Isiolo diocese in Kenya. Bishop Mukobo will be succeeded by Rt. Rev. Peter Makau Mungutu, IMC who has been his coadjutor bishop. Both bishops are members of The Consolata Missionary congregation. Bishop Peter Makau, was ordained as the coadjutor bishop of Isiolo on July 27, 2024.
