From April 16 to 19, 2026, Dianra Village came alive to the rhythm of the 19th Gathering of Catholic Women. Under the theme “Strong Women, Let Us Carry Humanity!”, more than two hundred Sénoufo women from the Béré region of Ivory Coast came together for a time of prayer, formation, and fellowship.

Organized by the Consolata Missionaries of the Dianra and Marandallah communities, this event was a true celebration of feminine dignity at the heart of the African missionary Church.
From the very first moments, a warm fraternal welcome laid the foundations for a deep communion among women. The days alternated between Masses – including one celebrated in memory of Father Matteo Pettinari – , sessions of human formation led by Maman Soro Kady Rosalie (photo), and enriching spiritual encounters.

Saint Joseph Allamano from a Sénoufo Heart
At the center of everything: a meditation on Saint Joseph Allamano, a saint of our time who dedicated his life to defending the dignity of every person, especially the most humble. His teachings reminded the participants of their irreplaceable role: to carry humanity with their inner strength, their tenderness, and their daily commitment.

Moments of sharing, joyful activities, exchanges, thematic theater, games, and a dancing vigil all deepened the sense of belonging to our great Consolata family under the fatherly guidance of Saint Joseph Allamano. Each woman rediscovered the importance of her own uniqueness in God’s plan, where every woman is called to radiate the light of Christ in Ivorian society and beyond.

The gathering concluded with a moving procession through the town and a solemn Mass, bringing to a close an event that transformed its participants into true witnesses of Christ.
