Blessed Joseph Allamano was born in Castelnuovo Don Bosco (at the time called Castelnuovo d’Asti) on January 21, 1851, the nephew of Saint Joseph Cafasso on his mother’s side. The Founder of the Consolata Missionaries and Consolata Missionary Sisters, will be canonized on 20th october 2024 by Pope Francis in Rome.
In Kenya, country that welcomed the first Consolata missionaries in 1902, the Thanksgiving Mass of his canonization will be help on 09th November 2024 at the University of Nairobi Grounds.
