Father Inverardi, from the Animation Center in Dar-es-Salaam in Tanzania, shares his reflections on the Founder that he recognizes as “Father and Teacher”.
According to him, “these are two words show well the relationship with us. Father, is how he was perceived by the first missionaries. A charismatic paternity not only because he was the Founder, but because of his human attitude, imbued with tenderness, delicacy, affection and personal interest. His letters bear witness to this… A father who instils a sense of family, of family spirit…”.
Teacher. First, with his life and example. Teacher during his eagerly awaited Sundays conferences and other days, and with the letters he wrote to the missionaries, who kept them as a precious treasure…”
