In this video recorded in Rome, he recounts how he came to know the missionaries through the Consolata Missionary Sisters. “We struck up a wonderful friendship, and this, as I was finishing secondary school, gave me the desire to become a missionary,” says Father Peter.

In his formation journey, after completing his Novitiate in Sagana, Father Peter spent a brief period in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where he recalls an event that left a deep mark on him. “There I was mistaken for a Tutsi from Rwanda and had to flee to Nairobi, where I was able to complete my theology studies before being ordained a priest on 4 August 2001.”

His first mission was in South Korea, in Asia, where he spent ten years: “a mission of presence, encounter, and dialogue with the reality, the culture, and with other religions.” He then worked in youth ministry and animation in Bevera, Italy.
