It was there that he understood how Mary Consolata had been the inspiration for his work from the very beginning, and how, in imitation of her \u201cYes,\u201d his work became consolation for the world.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>By Danmari Mujica *<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was she, Our Lady Consolata, who awakened in the heart of Saint Giuseppe Allamano the desire and urgency to make his own what Isaiah proclaims: \u201cThey will proclaim my glory among the nations\u201d (66:19). Thanks to the universal Church, this proclamation has reached the most isolated and distant places on earth. One hundred years after his birth into heaven, Saint Giuseppe Allamano continues to be a point of reference for evangelizing work in today\u2019s world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"565\" src=\"https:\/\/consolataafrica.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260301Venezuela4-1024x565.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5100\" srcset=\"https:\/\/consolataafrica.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260301Venezuela4-1024x565.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/consolataafrica.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260301Venezuela4-300x166.jpg 300w, https:\/\/consolataafrica.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260301Venezuela4-768x424.jpg 768w, https:\/\/consolataafrica.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260301Venezuela4.jpg 1120w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Sisters, friends, and lay people gathered to share the mission as a life choice, consolation and gift that comes from the Gospel. A consolation that continues to be Good News for all who await it, and for those who recognize the Lord of Life and Allamano as the \u201ctreasurer\u201d of Consolation, as he considered himself, pointing to Consolata as the true Foundress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The centenary celebration at the Missionary Animation Center (CAM) began with a novena animated by the various groups of the center: from the youngest members of the Sister Irene group to the friends of the \u201cOpen Hands and Light Feet\u201d group. These two groups attend weekly courses in missionary formation, spirituality, and concrete service to those who live on the streets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"548\" src=\"https:\/\/consolataafrica.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260301Venezuela3-1024x548.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5101\" srcset=\"https:\/\/consolataafrica.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260301Venezuela3-1024x548.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/consolataafrica.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260301Venezuela3-300x161.jpg 300w, https:\/\/consolataafrica.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260301Venezuela3-768x411.jpg 768w, https:\/\/consolataafrica.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260301Venezuela3.jpg 1130w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We believe that the best way to celebrate the centenary of the Founder\u2019s death is to share his life. For this reason, the doors are open to welcome curious and restless young people who wish to know God the Father better.
