Adolphe Mulengezi)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Festa della Consolata 2024: Messaggio del Superiore Generale IMC\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PXF5x7KZAgs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting from the miracle received by Sorino Yanomami through the intercession of Blessed Allamano, the message offers a reflection on the miracle of Cana of Galilee and on the &#8220;starring role of Mary\u201d, who persuaded her Son and engaged with the servants at the wedding feast &#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reflection applies the passage from the banquet at Cana (John 2.3-11) to our life as consecrated people and to the different realities of our mission in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cJust as Mary intercedes for the newlyweds by saying to Jesus: \u201c<em>They have no wine<\/em>\u201d, our mission is also called to intercede for humanity, especially for all those who suffer from the \u201clack\u201d of basic needs, peace and justice.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Message ends with a Marian prayer by Pope Francis, but first he reminds us that the \u201cmission is lived in the tension between these two polarities: \u201c<em>They have no more wine<\/em>\u201d &#8230; \u201c<em>Do what he tells you<\/em>\u201d. From observing a lack to being sent by Jesus to proclaim the Gospel that fills life with meaning, peace, joy and consolation. Like Mary, the important thing is to trust Him. Try to \u201c<em>always do what He tells us<\/em>\u201d, especially in times of difficulty, because the mission is His and not ours!
